Guide for requesting Nissenken’stesting and inspection.

How to request

Here are basic methods for requesting tests. For more detailed information, please contact one of our institutes near your location.

1. Request at the laboratory

Please bring your request form and test samples to your nearest Nissenken laboratory.

2. Request by mail

Please send your request form and test samples to your nearest Nissenken laboratory.

Procedure from requests to issuance of report

Please bring or send the request form and test samples to your nearest Nissenken laboratory.	We carry out the tests according to standards and customer’s requests.	Report for basic test can be sent within 4 business days.

Standards or test items requested by customers

Test carried out according to consignee’s standards

We can test according to the independent quality standard offered by makers or buyers. When you request for the test, please tell us the name of buyers and dispatch time.

• The detailed information (like category, for men/women/infants) may need to be claimed according to consignee’s requirements.
• Please claim the fiber mixture in advance. (It may be necessary for us to select test items.)
• If you have already negotiated the test items with the consignee and agree to omit some basic tests, please claim it in advance.

Recommendation for basic test

We recommend NQ standard (Nissenken standard). You can choose to do the color fastness or physical property test only. Please contact us for more detailed information.

Test sample

The size and number of colors of required test sample differ by test item and details.

Example

• Basic color fastness test: A4 size 1pc x all color
Patterned fabrics and those with decoration are requested to be bigger than A4 size.

• Test for Physical Performance and functionality: About 40㎝length x full width × model color
Patterned fabrics and those with decoration are requested to be bigger than A4 size.

Delivery time

The basic test report can be sent within 4 business days. If you want to receive the report sooner, please inform us at the time of your request. Please note based on the test items we may not be able to deliver the report by requested dates.
