Nissenken is a designated testing institution for “UV shilding” SEK mark.

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

On October 1st, 2020, the Japan Textile Evaluation Technology Council (Sengikyo), certifies SEK marks for Antimicrobial deodorant finishing and Antiviral finishing, began operating the UV-shielding SEK Mark. In order to obtain the mark, test data are required according to JIS L 1925 UV Shielding Evaluation Method for Textile Products, and Nissenken is a designated testing institution.

　　　　　　　　

■SEK mark is expected to increase demand for UV shielding by enactment.
Consumer needs for fashion items, interiors, and other products are growing, but in recent years, a variety of functional textile products are on the shelf, thanks to proactive proposals from manufacturers and other businesses.
